Ceramic filtration systems for water reuse. We have successfully completed the first milestone of CERACON Project.
In this R&D project we are developing a new SMART concept of the ceramic filtration for water reuse, which offers a highly favorable CAPEX/OPEX ratio, competitive with conventional technologies.
Likuid ceramic membranes are nowadays implemented in projects worldwide for producing reusable water in several applications: tourist resorts, residential buildings, industrial processes, shopping malls, sport centers… The new developments allow us offering an increasingly competitive product with important benefits over the conventional processes – reliability, efficiency, robustness and compactness – with minimum operation and maintenance requirements.
The project is cofounded by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and the Hazitek program of the Basque Government.
